The tuition listed below includes class fees and student admission to regular-season, home athletic contests and to drama productions.  This amount does not include the non-refundable $100.00 registration fee or student textbooks.  Annual tuition is payable in twelve equal monthly installments.

Financing A Powers Education

You have an important financial decision to make for your family.  You must decide how to finance your child’s tuition at Powers Catholic High School.  This page offers important information and several avenues to assist you in affording a Powers Catholic High School education.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is granted on the basis of financial need and requires the completion of the Tuition Assistance Application Form. All information will be held in strict confidence. This form must be completed and submitted along with copies of current pay stubs and either your 2010 or 2011 income tax form to:

** Tuition Assistance applications are due on March 23, 2012.  Grants will be announced the week of April 9th for those who meet this deadline.

Parish Assistance

Some parishes offer assistance to their students attending Powers Catholic High School. You should contact your parish business office to see if there is assistance available.

Diocese of Lansing Scholarships

The Diocese of Lansing has scholarships available to Catholic students enrolling in grades 6-10 at any Catholic school within the diocese.  Scholarships for students in grades 9-10 are $1,000 and for students in grades 6-8 are $750.  The application is available online at www.glcef.org and must be completed (or postmarked) by March 19, 2012.  There is a $23 application fee for this program.

Scholarship Opportunities

These funds are used to support academic scholarships, need-based tuition assistance and school programs.  For further information regarding scholarships, please contact Brenda Goyette at 810-591-0100 in the Advancement Office.

SCRIP Program

We also have a scrip program through which parents, grandparents, and even friends can help you earn credit toward your student’s tuition through normal family purchasing habits. Click on the links below for more information or contact our business office at 810-591-4747.

DTE/Palace Concessions

Parents also have the opportunity to obtain help by working concessions at the Palace of Auburn Hills and DTE Theatre.
