Welcome to the Powers Catholic Men's Soccer Home Page

Home of the 1996 Class B & 2013 Division III State Champions

Upcoming Schedule (subject to change):

Tentative schedule for summer workouts starting June 16th  and ending the week before try-outs is 8:30-9 in the weight room and 9-10:30 outside by the track Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring flats, soccer socks, shin guards, cleats, and plenty of water. August 4th and 6th will be workout days only and no pick up soccer with coaches present.

August 5th- Sports Physicals 6 p.m. (all students are welcome, parents need to sign for althetes under the age of 18)

Try-outs are August 12th-14th from 9-10:30 and 11:30-1 with a scrimmage on the 15th TBA.

You will need, cleats, shin guards, socks, plenty of water, a snack for in between practices, and weather appropriate gear. Ragged cut of shirts are frowned upon. Sun screen isn't a bad idea. There are picnic tables and a port-a-potty on site. It is a good idea to show up at least by 8:45 to make sure you have everything in and are ready to go right at 9.

PRACTICE FORMS– All coaches must collect signed Kettering Release Forms and keep them with you while you practice there.  Please indicate students will be using their facilities for 1 full year.

Students OR coaches parking in the Kettering lot will need to pick up a PARKING PASS from the Kettering Rec Center’s Front desk the first day they use their facilities.

Dual sport athletes must declare a primary and secondary sport. Whatever is your primary sport you are required to be at that and if no conflicts then participate in your secondary sport. Remember constant contact between the coaches of each sport, and even with the AD is vital for playing two sports to work.

We will not be at Holly on the 15th for a scrimmage tournament. They have a new varsity coach and he opted not to put it on this year. We are looking to fill in that spot and I fully expect to have some sort of competition that day. Please keep at least the morning blocked off.
