This tradition has been formed and nurtured over the past three decades by many people and events who have created an environment that nurtures the education and growth of our students. Spiritually, you will grow through the experiences of liturgies, daily prayer, service to the school and community and by sacrifices as you help others through donations of time and resources. Academically, you will be given the opportunity to become part of the ninety five percent of our graduates who go on to college or university life through challenging classes in a competitive program of studies. At Powers Catholic, you will become prepared to meet the challenges of a modern society. Athletically, the proud tradition is exemplified by the more than 190 league and state tournament trophies our teams have won, the more than 140 student athletes who have gained All State Honors and the many students who have continued their athletic careers in colleges and universities. None of these achievements would be possible without the dedication and commitment of our caring staff and coaches, the sacrifices and support of our parents, benefactors and alumni and the hard work, enthusiasm and loyalty of our students.
