If any student plans on taking the AP test and did not receive an order form from Mrs. Bartos, there are extras in the front office.

Reminder- AP tests must be ordered by March 9th.

The Yearbook staff will take pictures of groups, clubs, etc, for the 2012 Yearbook on Monday, Feb. 27th starting at 9 am. A note will be placed in your mailboxes with a list of the clubs we plan to photograph. If you see a club or group missing, let me know ASAP. Thank you, Teresa Moss

Congratulations to the forensics team who competed at North Branch on Saturday placing 2nd in the medium school category. The place winners were Josh Tovey, 2nd place Extemp; Gabe Farah, 3rd place Impromptu; and Josh Tovey, 6th place Impromptu. The semi-finalists were Kat Cory, Jordyn Tovey, Taylor Tovey, Zak Dippold, and Brandon Eggleston. 

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITY:  6 students are needed to work an international music competition at the Flint Institute of Music on Saturday March 3.  3 students are needed to help with the morning session from 8-12 and 3 students in the afternoon from 12:30-4:30.  Tasks include sitting at the doors and letting people enter the auditorium at appropriate times.  Lunch is included!

Forensics team members planning to go to Frankenmuth are reminded that the drop deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

The Fenton Chamber of Commerce is looking for students to help with the Fenton Business Expo.  They need help the weekend of March 2nd after 4 pm through March 4th until about 7 pm.  If any students are in need of service hours and would like to help, please call Mrs. Dziadzio at 810 955 4531.

Service hour opportunity:  the Power’s Robotics team needs help for their Kettering Competition on March 2nd & 3rd.  Please help them out with this project!  If interested email bwelsh@geneseeisd.org.  We need at least 4 volunteers from Powers, any and all help is appreciated.

The TUTOR LAB is open every day both before and after school. Please take advantage of this service.

DRIVERS ED INFORMATION: Segment 1 starting February 27 and Segment 2 starting March 19 is now available in the Guidance Office.

Free tutoring information at Kettering University is available in the Guidance Office.

Responsible, mature, dependable high school female babysitter wanted with own transportation for summer babysitting job in Davison.   Three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) for two children aged 2 1/2 and 6 years.  Hours from 7am - 4 pm.  Serious inquiries only.  Must have references.  Contact Lori @ 658-7355.
