In order to help our students put their faith in action, Seniors complete a year long Capstone Project. The goal is to give each student an opportunity to take the Catholic teachings and Gospel message which they have studied during their high school career and use it as missionary disciples here in Flint and the surrounding areas.
Capstone Project Handout This handout is posted on the Capstone Google Classroom Page, Mr. Arthur's Theology Google Classroom, and will be passed out to students in their theology classes. If a student has any questions or concerns please reach out to Ms. Rabine. 2026-2027 Calendar for Senior Theology Capstone Project March 16, 2026--Capstone Fair Meet with our partners and select the organization you will complete your project with. If you have an organization you would like to work with that is not one of our partners please get approval from Ms. Rabine. March 17, 2026-September 4, 2026— 15 service hours (minimum) completed and turned in to MobileServe (label these hours Capstone) September 11, 2026– Personal Reflection due in Theology class November 20, 2026– Catholic Social Teachings & Capstone Essay due (this is your first semester exam grade) CLASS TIME WILL BE GIVEN January 22, 2027— 5 Implementation hours completed and turned in to MobileServe (label these hours Capstone February 19, 2027-- Multimedia Projects due (This counts as your 2nd Semester Exam) March of 2027— The top 10 projects will be presented in Theology class and compete for the $500 Capstone Scholarship
