Typical Weekly Mass Schedule Monday and Friday, 7:30am Tuesday and Thursday, 3:15pm (or 10 minutes after school ends) Wednesday 10:37 a.m. All school Mass in the gym. (If the All school Mass has changed days, the Mass on Wednesday will be at 7:30am.) Note: The weekly school Masses are not a substitute for one's weekend Mass obligation. Don’t skip out on God’s grace!
Confessions At Powers Catholic, the Sacrament of Penance will be available whenever Fr. Tony is available. In addition, students will have an opportunity to receive this sacrament during their yearly school retreat as well as monthly during their theology class. And students and their families are always encouraged to take advantage of the confession times of their home parish or seasonal penance service. To help prepare yourself to make a good confession, I recommend using an examination of conscience guide such as the Guide to Confession available online from the Knights of Columbus.
Adoration Students, staff and entire theology classes will be able to come before our Lord and adore his Eucharistic presence. We highly encourage and welcome parents to come and adore during this time and to spend time lifting up our school in intercessory prayer. Please email Fr. Additionally, there is adoration and praise and worship available for students on most Wednesday evenings. Students should see Fr. Tony for more information.
